ADA-BORUP WENT UP AGAINST NORTH WOODS IN THE CLASS A BOYS’ STATE SEMIFINAL GAME

On March 22, Ada-Borup and North Woods squared off in the Class A boys’ basketball state semifinal game.

Both teams raced down the floor trying to make shots. Ada-Borup looked to make baskets in transition.

Ada-Borup looked to get the ball into the hands of Verdis Barber. Barber was able to get to the basket and make mid-range jump shots and layups. His teammates did a good job of getting him the ball in spots where he could shoot it.

North Woods looked to trap Ada-Borup as they brought the ball down the floor. Ada-Borup was able to break the press and make layups in transition.

Ada-Borup came up with steals and was able to convert the steals to layup on the offensive end.

Ada-Borup continued to look for their shots late in the first half. The defensive pressure that North Woods applied made it difficult for them to get an open look at the basket.
