FAIRMONT WENT UP AGAINST DOVER-EYOTA IN A QUARTERFINAL BASKETBALL GAME

Fairmont went up against Dover-Eyota in a girls’ state basketball game. Dover-Eyota pushed the ball down the floor as they looked to score baskets in transition.

Dover-Eyota got the ball into the hands of Brandi Blattner. She came up with mid-range jump shots and layups throughout the first half.

Both teams took a lot of time off the clock in the first half.

Dover-Eyota was able to come up with layups and jump shots late in the first half. They were quicker than Fairmont.

At halftime the score was Dover-Eyota 33, Fairmont 23.

As the second half got underway Dover-Eyota looked to get the ball into the hands of Brandi Blattner. Blattner did a good job of getting to the basket.

Fairmont struggled to shoot the ball throughout the game.

Dover-Eyota came up with huge shots by Blattner throughout the game.

Dover-Eyota came up with the 62-53 victory over Fairmont.

The leading scorers for Fairmont were Schultz with 22 points and Mosloski with 17 points.

The leading scorers for Dover Eyota were Blattner with 19 points, Nelson with 16 and Hintz with 10 points.
