According to Sid Hartman from the Minneapolis Star Tribune, former St Bernard's and Henry Sibley high school basketball player Trevor Mbakwe is getting some looks by the University of Minnesota. After high school he committed to Marquette University. He is now attending Miami-Dade Community College. He will make an official visit during Tubby's Tip off to get a feel for the campus.
Last season he decided to leave Marquette University just before fall classes started.
