UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA ATHLETIC DIRECTOR NORWOOD TEAGUE STEPS DOWN AMID SEXUAL HARASSMENT ALLEGATIONS

On Friday Aug. 7, Minnesota Athletic Director Norwood Teague stepped down amid sexual harassment allegations.

Teague sent inappropriate text messages to two women at a University of Minnesota function.

On Sunday Aug. 9 Minneapolis Star Tribune sports reporter Amelia Rayno came out with a report in the paper recalling her story about her experiences with sexual harassment allegations against Teague.

Minnesota has appointed Beth Goetz to run the athletic department in the interim as the search for a permanent Athletic Director is underway.
