HOPKINS WENT UP AGAINST ST. PAUL JOHNSON IN A BASKETBALL GAME

Hopkins and St. Paul Johnson squared off in a basketball game. Hopkins moved the ball down the floor well and got everyone involved in the offense.

Johnson couldn’t make shots in transition. The Hopkins offense was quicker than Johnson.

Hopkins played both man-to-man and zone defense. They were able to get their hands in the passing lanes and clog up the middle of the court.

Johnson looked to make fast break layups late in the first half.

At halftime the score was Hopkins 38, Johnson 19.

As the second half got underway Hopkins continued to push the ball down the floor and make baskets in transition. They slowed the Johnson offense down and got them out of their shooting rhythm.

Johnson struggled to make baskets throughout the game. Hopkins came away with the 77-38 victory over Johnson.
