In the third game of the day in the day it is the Team Wisconsin taking on North Tartan. This game is tight in the beginning. Both teams are playing very well. They are both playing different styles of defense. They are both switching from a man to man to a zone. Both teams are trying to push the ball up the court. Both teams are playing half court defense. Both teams are playing well in the first half and both teams are putting up a fight.
At the Half Team Wisconsin is ahead of North Tartan by the score of 25-18. In the second half North Tartan came out fired up. North Tartan has gotten back into this game with 10:00 left in the game they are down by 3 31-34. Team Wisconsin has kind of went into hiding a little bit in the middle of the second half.
Both teams are playing tough in the second half. Team Wisconsin has climbed back into this game and has managed to tie the score up at 36 each. This game could come down to the wire. Both teams are playing well and shooting the ball much better in the second half.
This North Tartan team is being coached by John Headstrum the head boy’s basketball at Minnetonka. His AAU team won the AAU State regional last weekend. His team will play in Norman Oklahoma in July for the National AAU Tournament. With 2:23 left in the game North Tartan has taken a lead for the first time in the game with a 40-38 advantage. In a game that became a nail bitter at the finish. North tartan won at the buzzer by the final of 43-42.
