123PRINT.COM TOOK ON EL-AMIN FISH HOUSE IN PLAYOFF ACTION IN THE JUNE MILLER PRO CITY SUMMER LEAGUE

123Print.com took on the El-Amin Fish House in the June Miller Pro City League. In a rare appearance Khalid El-Amin has showed up for the game. He has not played in many games this season.

Fish House looked to push the ball up the court from the beginning of the game. They wanted to score easy baskets in transition.

Jake Thomas for the Fish House and who is 6’3” really wanted to get the ball into his hands in the early goings. He was able to connect on shots from long range. He will be attending Long Beach State in the fall.

The game was close throughout the first quarter. Neither team was able to go on a run in the early goings of the game.

Carols Emery was really aggressive with the ball. He was able to use shot fakes to juke out his defenders and he was fouled on most every attempt. He was able to finish down low.

Jamar Franks for 123Print.com did a good job of boxing out his defender. He was able to get around him and close out on him. On the offensive end he was able to shake his opponent.

At the end of the first quarter the score was 123Print.com 26 and El-Amin Fish House 22.

Marshal Brown broke the rim on a slam dunk with 7:54 left to go. The game was suspended for the night so the rim could be fixed. The score was El-Amin Fish House 34 and 123 Print.com 33.

The game resumed on Wednesday after the rim was replaced.

As the game resumed both teams looked fresh and enthused. Jake Thomas was able to drop a few three point shots.

The Fish House looked to push the ball up the court. They were really able to score baskets in transition.

Both teams were trading baskets late in the second quarter. Neither team was able to go on a run in the first half.

At halftime the score was 123Print.com 59 and El-Amin Fish House 52.

As the third quarter got underway both teams came out with a lot of fire and energy. The defense by 123Print.com bothered El-Amin Fish House. They couldn’t get into the flow of the game.

Both teams were really aggressive. They were diving on the floor for loose balls.

Steven Neal was able to run the El-Amin Fish House offense. He directed his players on the court and told them where they were supposed to be on the court. On the defensive end he was able to slow down his opponent and come up with some critical steals in the contest.

Jamar Franks played really hard on both ends of the court. He hustled after loose balls, and played outstanding on the defensive end.

The contest was close throughout the third quarter. Neither team gave up. Both teams really clamped down on the defensive pressure.

Khalid El-Amin drained a two point shot at the buzzer to end the third quarter. The score after three quarters of play was El-Amin Fish House 80 and 123Print.com 78.

The fourth quarter got off to a quick pace. Both teams continued go after each other. Neither team gave up. They both wanted this victory.

The game was tied at 92 with 4:55 left in the fourth quarter.

Jamar Diggs for 123Print.com was aggressive on the offensive end. He really drove to the basket in traffic throughout the game. He was also not afraid to get his teammates involved in the game. He would pass them the ball if he thought that they had a better shot.

The game came down to the wire. In the end 123Print.com came away with the 103-98 victory over El-Amin Fish House.
