EL-AMIN FISH HOUSE TOOK ON THE INFORMATION INVESTORS GROUP IN THE JUNE MILLER PRO CITY LEAGUE

El-Amin Fish House took on the Information Investors Group in the first game of the evening. El-Amin Fish House came into the game with a 3-2 record and the Information Investors came into the game with a record of 1-4. There was a lot of excitement around this game because former Mr. Basketball out of Minnesota Royce Alexander White has committed to Iowa State University.

Both teams had a rough time at the beginning of the game. Neither team was able to find their shot in the early goings.

El-Amin Fish House was able to drop three shots in a roll in the middle of the first quarter. The Information Investors Group didn’t give up as they continued to shoot the ball.

Jake Thomas for the Fish House was not afraid to shoot the ball and take it strong to the rack. He also knew where his teammates were on the court at all times.

Both teams looked to push the ball up the court throughout the first quarter. Both teams wanted to control the tempo of the game.

At the end of the first quarter the score was tied at 22.

Steven Neal had some nice slam dunks throughout the first half. He also was able to get his teammates into the game and delivered a nice pass to his teammates for an assist.

Both teams slowed the pace of the game down midway through the second quarter. They wanted to try to use as much time off the clock as they could.

At the half the score was Information Investors 51 and El-Amin Fish House 48.

As the third quarter got underway Steven Neal found his shot. He was able to drain quick jump shots and keep the Fish House up in this game.

El-Amin Fish House had a hard time finding their shot to begin the quarter. They didn’t get frustrated. They kept working hard to find their shots even though they were not going in.

Steven Neal played really well. He drove to the rack with a purpose and he was not afraid to get his teammates involved into the game.

At the end of the third quarter the score was Information Investors 75 and El-Amin Fish House 67.

The Information Investors found the basket in transition in the fourth quarter as they were able to make baskets with ease.

El-Amin Fish House wasn’t going to let them go out quietly. They contested shots and they wanted to slow Information Investors down. The Fish House went on a run with 5:00 left in the fourth quarter. They were not able to close it out though. The Information Investors were able to come away with the 113-92 victory over El-Amin Fish House. I thought Royce White played well throughout the game. He was able to get his teammates into the game on all levels. He did not crack under pressure. I really think that he did a good job all around in the game.
