After the game I was able to talk to Southwest head coach John Biezuns and DeAnthony McKinley about the game.

John Beizunes said that he thought that his team is in a state of panic. Even though his team doesn’t say it much they are in a rebuilding year even though he doesn’t think of it like that. His team lost a lot in the defensive backfield. He thought that there was a hangover from the Washburn game. He didn't think that his team was ready to play at Duluth after a long bus ride. Beizunes did think they played well in the game and was a better team than North. He thought that DeAnthony played well today. He has been hurt for a few games this season. Once he gets healthy he will be his main guy.
