THE MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES PICK UP KAMMRON TAYLOR FOR SUMMER LEAGUE


According to the Minnesota Timberwolves, “The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team's 2012 NBA Summer League and minicamp information. The Wolves will open their five-game Summer League schedule on Monday, July 16 vs. the L.A. Clippers at 9:00 p.m. CT. Before heading to Las Vegas the team will hold a minicamp in which the participating players will compete for spots on the Wolves' Summer League entry. The Wolves' official Summer League roster will be announced after the completion of the minicamp.

The Timberwolves minicamp roster features 2011 first round draft pick Derrick Williams (second overall) and 2010 first round draft choice Wes Johnson (fourth overall), along with Malcolm Lee and 2012 second round selection Robbie Hummel. Player development coaches David Adelman and Shawn Respert will be responsible for coaching the Wolves' summer league entry.

The Wolves will kick off the minicamp with two workouts on Friday, July 13. A double session will also be conducted on Saturday, and a single practice is scheduled for Sunday morning.”

Kammron Taylor who is from Minnesota and played college basketball in Wisconsin has been named to the Summer League Roster. Taylor who is a 6-2 guard and was born on August 8, 1984 played for Dnipro Azot in the Ukraine last season.
