Tyus Robert Jones who is playing in the
FIBA U17 World Championship for Men scored 9 points in the semi final
game against Spain. Team USA came away with the 95-66 victory.
Jones was 2-6 from the field. That
included going 1-2 from behind the three-point line. Jones went 4-6
from the free throw line. Jones dished out 4 assists.
Jones and Team USA will play Australia
in the championship game for the FIBA U17 World Championship on
Sunday July 8, 2012.
Through 7 games Jones is averaging 9.4
points per game.
