HOPKINS WENT UP AGAINST EASTVIEW IN A GIRLS’ BASKETBALL GAME

On March 17, Hopkins went up against Eastview in a girls’ basketball semifinal state basketball game. 

The score went back and forth throughout the first half. Neither team went on a run early. 

There was a media timeout with 10:46 left in the first half. The score was Hopkins 9, Eastview 8.

The score continued to go back and forth throughout the first half. Neither team went on a huge run.

It was a very competitive first half. Neither team went on a huge run. 

At halftime the score was Hopkins 39, Eastview 30.

As the second half got underway Hopkins continued to push the ball down the floor and get everyone involved in the offense. 

Eastview got the ball into the hands of Megan Walstad, Rachel Ranke and Allie Pickrain, all who were able to come up with mid-range jump shots and layups. 

Hopkins continued to score the ball throughout the second half.

Hopkins was quicker than Eastview. Eastview had a difficult time scoring baskets throughout the game.

Hopkins came away with the 85-67 victory over Eastview.
