BETHEL JV COMES BACK AND ENDS UP BEATING NORTHWESTERN COLLEGE

In the first game of the evening, it is the JV teams going at it. Northwestern Bible College is going up against Bethel. Bethel has started out pushing the ball up the court Northwestern got off to a good start. They are hitting their shots that they put up.

Bethel's (#3) has played well to start this game. He has made some good shots, and he is really playing strong. Bethel has been playing a strong man-to-man defense tonight. Both teams are playing really well, but they are still each trying to find their rhythm.

Northwestern looks to push the ball in the first half. They have been successful doing that so far. They are, also, play strong man-to-man defense.

Northwestern has opened up a little lead on Bethel. Both teams are looking to push the ball up the court in transition. We have reached half time. The score is Northwestern 35 and Bethel 27.

As the second half gets under way, both teams are coming out playing aggressively. They are playing smart and aggressive.

Nate Thompson has shown a good solid performance tonight. He has played well. He has made some nice moves around the basket.

Northwestern has decided not to press here for a couple of series. When Northwestern puts on the press, they are successful creating a little havoc.

Bethel has put on a little run, mid way through the second half. With 13:15 left to go in the game, the score is Northwestern 47 and Bethel 37.

Bethel is still fighting hard in this game. They are not going to give up in this contest. This game is going to come down to the end, as both teams are putting on a shooting clinic.

Northwestern has decided not to press again for a couple of series. Bethel on the other hand has put on their press. Bethel has come back, and now, has taken the lead here with 8:30 left to go in the game. The score is Bethel 49 and Northwestern 47.

Both teams are trading baskets. It is anyone's game at this point. Bethel's Daniel Baah has looked impressive. He has really had some nice moves with the ball. He has been able to shake off his defender, on a couple of different occasions. He has also been one of their vocal leaders in this game.

This game will come down to the end. It will come down to what teams can make more shots down the stretch. Both teams are playing very hard in this game. It has been a well fought out game. And with 1:15 left to go, it is Northwestern 57 and Bethel 61. Both teams are scrambling around and trying to come away with a victory. Northwestern has taken some quick 3 point shots near the end of this game to try to them back in to it. But in the end, Bethel JV ends up beating the Northwestern JV by the final of 64-59.
