MINNESOTA FURY AGAINST NORTH TARTAN

16U PLAY

In a game that has been up and down from the start North Tartan is playing Minnesota Fury. North Tartans team is made up of players from all across the state of Minnesota. Minnesota Fury is made up of mostly kids from the metro area.

In the first half both teams looked to get into their offense. North Tartan was able to shoot the ball better and make more shots. They are ahead of the Minnesota Fury by the score of 33-22. It is going to be interesting to how both of these teams will adjust in the second half.

Both of these teams are playing a combination of both zone and man to man defenses. Both teams are pressing and trapping the ball. North Tartan is hitting their shots the second half. The game has a fast pace in the second half. Both teams are scoring points and they are battling. The teams are trading baskets and the Fury is trying to get back into this game.

This game was a good game because both teams are playing very well through out the game. In the end the Minnesota Fury were not able to get a handle of North Tartan. I think that the half time deficit that the Fury got into they were not able to come back from that even though they gave it a good fight. North Tartan was able to beat the Fury’s press. They were able to advance the ball better today and they were able to get into the grove of the game. The final of the game was North Tartan 59 and Minnesota Fury 44.

This is the first time that I have seen this North Tartan team. In fact this is the first time that I have seen most of these teams that are playing in this tournament.
