BIG LAKE WENT UP AGAINST SARTELL-ST. STEPHEN’S IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

Big Lake and Sartell-St. Stephen’s squared off in a boys’ basketball game. Sartell looked to push the ball down the floor and score baskets in transition.

Sartell swung the ball around the 3-point line as they looked to take time off the clock.

Sartell’s Daniel Daffinrud looked to slow down the guy he was guarding. He looked to some up with steals in the first half.

Big Lake called a timeout with 5:13 left in the first half. The score was Sartell 23, Big Lake 14.

Neither team went on a run in the first half.

At halftime the score was Sartell 28, Big Lake 21.

As the second half got underway Sartell continued to come up with mid-range jump shots. Satrell’s Brandon Snoberger and Jacob Lieberg got their shots to fall in the second half.

Sartell’s Brandon Snoberger came up with huge mid-range jump shots and layups throughout the game. He was able to get past his defenders and make shots.

Big Lake struggled to shoot the ball in the second half.

Sartell did a good job of moving the ball around the 3-point line in transition.

Sartell was too much for Big Lake. Sartell was quicker and was able to get to the basket more effectively throughout the game.

Sartell came away with the 64-50 victory over Big Lake.
