A & A MILLWORK VS EL-AMIN’S FISH HOUSE

In the first game of the evening at this week’s Howard Pulley Pro Am game it is A & A Millwork VS El-Amin Fish House. As this game gets underway both teams are coming out running. They are both pushing the ball up the court. A & A Millwork is running a motion offense here to start the game off. They are making cuts and trying to get everyone in the offense.

Jamil Staten is playing well here in the first quarter here. He is making good passes and really working hard on both ends of the floor. He is trying to get everyone involved in the offense. El Amin Fish House is really playing well to start off the game they have come out on fire here to start off this game.

A & A Millwork is putting together a presence here in the middle of the first quarter. They are fighting back and they are not letting down here late in the first quarter. Randy Carter is playing aggressively here in this game. He is trying working hard in the low box. He has gotten into battles in the low box with Jamil Staten. They have both fought hard to get the rebound on both ends of the court. Tryell Sledge has hit some shots from behind the three point line late here in the first quarter.

At the end of the first quarter the score is El-Amin’s Fish House 32 and A & A Millwork 18.

As the second quarter gets underway here both teams are looking to run. Both teams are playing half court man to man defense here to start this second quarter off. Travis Bush is playing well here in this game he is making shots here he has set some aggressive screens here in the middle of the second quarter. El-Amin’s Fish House still has a 36-23 lead with 6:53 left to go in the second quarter. They are going after the loose balls diving on the floor and fighting for rebounds.

A & A Millwork is working hard here. They are trying to get the open shots. They are taking shots but they are not making them. They are just trying to plug away. Both teams are going hard after each other here so far.

Khalid El-Amin is playing well here in this game. He is trying to take over this game and make shots that he thinks will make it so his team will win the game. He is known to be a shooter. He will shoot the ball before he will look to pass. He is a good shooter. Luke Patterson has been playing well here in this game. He has made some smart choices when he is out on the court.

At half time the score is El-Amin’s Fish House 60 and A & A Millwork 41.

As this second half gets underway here both teams are coming on strong they are fighting for everything. Both teams are playing aggressively here. A & A Millwork has come out playing half court defense here to start the second half. Tryell Sledge has played well here so far. He has made some great plays on both ends of the court. He has really played aggressively here in this game. El-Amin’s Fish House has been on a roll here in this game. They have blown this game open here in this third quarter. It will be interesting to see if they can hold on to this lead and how big the margin will be. A & A Millwork is still fighting here late in this third quarter. At the end of the third quarter the score is El-Amin’s Fish House 85 and A & A Millwork 56.

As this fourth quarter gets underway here it is just a matter how many points they are going to win by. Neither team is pressing here as the fourth quarter gets under way. They are still playing aggressively. A & A Millwork is trying not to force shots that they want to make. The players of El-Amin’s have to be patient and make shots here in the fourth.

It is quite warm in the gym this evening and there have been issues with moisture on the court. There have been several times that the game has been stopped so moisture could be wiped off the court.

In a game that has kind of been a blow out from the start El-Amin’s Fish House has came away with the victory in this game tonight. The final score was El-Amin’s Fish House 105 and A & A Millwork 76.

Dave Johnson who is the Robbinsdale Cooper head boy’s varsity basketball coach was in the building this evening to watch this game this evening.
