IN THE SECOND GAME BACK FROM THE 4TH OF JULY HOLIDAY THE HOWARD PULLEY PRO CITY IT IS CULVER’S VS PETTERS GROUP

In the second game of the evening it is Culver’s going up against Petters group. Both teams have come out to a fast start to start this game off. Petters Group has taken a three point leaded with 4:30 left to go in the first quarter. Both teams are pushing the ball up the court.

Paris Kyles is pushing the ball up the court and taking some good shots here to start off the game here tonight. Paris Kyles when to Minneapolis Community and Technical College and then he went down to Mankato State University to play basketball. Mark Bausch who also went to Minneapolis Community and Technical College is also playing well here to start the game off. This Culver’s team has a lot of guys that used to play at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Tony Dorn who is another player that went to Minneapolis Community and Technical College is also having a good game here tonight.

In a first quarter that has been up and down the court and a lot of action and in a tight game Culvers has taken a 26-23 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Two other players that are playing well for Culver’s tonight are Calvin and Craig Walls. They both went to school at Osseo high school. They are brothers. And they both complement each others game. They both know how to get the ball up the court and look to other players to get them involved in the game.

In the second quarter both teams are still looking sharp. The Petter’s group is hitting shots in the middle of the quarter. Both teams are going to attack each other and they are not going to sit and wait for the other one to score they are going to be the more aggressive team. Who ever is the more aggressive team will end up with the victory tonight.

Both teams are trading baskets here. And it has gotten close. Devon Bostic who is going to be going to the University Of Minnesota is also having a good game here tonight. He has a good first step on his jab step. He also has a nice mid range jump shot.

In a game that has been close though out the first half Culvers has a 50-43 lead over Petters Group at the half.

As the second half gets underway both teams are hungry for a win. Devon Bostic has just come down and he had an amazing behind the head monster dunk. He cocked the ball behind his head and he took off and just jammed it. As many people that are still here every one was in amazement. I think that the Devon Bostic will do great things when he is at the University of Minnesota.

The Petter’s group has come back and they have taken a lead here at the end of the third quarter. They have battled back and played hard though out the game. At the end of the third quarter it is Culvers 62 and The Petter’s Group 65.

Both teams are still going strong at each other here in the middle of the fourth quarter. Culver’s has taken a 75-72 lead with 5:00 left to go in the game. Eric Gasaas is also playing well here tonight for the Culver’s team. He has made some strong cuts and is making some nice shots.

The final of the game was Petters 90 and Culver’s 89 Devon Bostic had 15 for Petters.
