TUESDAYS FIRST GAME IS BETWEEN SABES FOUNDATION AND EL-AMIN’S FISH HOUSE

El-Amin’s team was late arriving tonight so Sabes Foundation got a 5-0 lead. This was a penalty because of the late start.

Sabes got off to a five point lead and they have taken off from there. They have felt the momentum coming out of the gates. We will see if they are able to use the 5 point lead throughout the game. Sabes Foundation has taken a 23-11 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Sabes Foundation has hit shots here to open the second quarter up. They are pushing the ball up and down the court. They are also looking to slow the other team down.

Dan Colman is playing well here in the second quarter. He is looking to get his shots. Levi Jones is also playing well here in the middle of the second quarter. He has had some good low post moves in the low block. Chris Taylor is also playing well. He has gotten into a shooting rhythm here in the middle of the second quarter. With 5:11 left to go in the second quarter it is El-Amin’s Fish House 26 and Sabes Foundation 35.

El-Amin’s Fish House is playing an aggressive man to man defense. They are trying to put as much they can on the Sabes Foundation players as they can. Colton Iverson who is going to be going to the University of Minnesota is also playing well here in the first half. He has made some strong cuts to the basket and he has also made some smart plays.

At half time the score is El-Amin’s Fish House 43 and Sabes Foundation 46. There is a nice crowd here tonight to watch this first game. This dose not surprises me at all. People have told me that there would be nice size crowds at the game not only to night but also on Thursday when the top Gopher recruits play the 17U Howard Pulley team at 7:00 PM

As this second half gets underway both teams are hungry for a win. Al Nolan Jr who went to Henry High School is playing well here for the Sabes Foundation team. He has made some nice plays through out the game tonight.

This has been a close game through out the game. With 6:15 left to go in the third quarter the score is tied at 53 points each. This game could still go either way. As the third continues both teams are trading baskets here. Both teams are playing aggressive. Jamar Diggs for Sabes Foundation is taking it hard to the basket. He is playing hard and very well in this game. This game will come down to the end both teams are playing very well. At the end of the third quarter the score is El-Amin’s Fish House 73 and Sabes Foundation 75. We have a good game brewing here and it is any ones game as we start the fourth quarter.

As the fourth quarter gets underway both teams know that they are in for a battle as we get things rolling here in the fourth quarter both teams are hungry for the win. Al Nolan has just come down and had a monster dunk. He is playing with a lost of energy here tonight. With 6:00 left to go in the game Sables Foundation has a 92-82 lead here. Either team could still go on a run here late in the fourth quarter. This game came down the end of the game. Both teams played hard in the end and there were two lead changes in the last minuet of play but in the end of regulation we are tied at 104 so this game will be going into over time. Travis Bush has played well here in this game. He has made some nice passes to the open guys and he has made some clutch plays on both ends of the floor tonight.

As this game goes into the overtime period both teams are looking to dig in and win this game. Jamar Diggs comes down and sprains his ankle on the first play of over time period. Both teams are trading baskets in the over time period. This game is still close with 3:05 in the over time it is tide at 109 apiece. Both teams played very well the whole game. But in the end it was El Amin Fish House with the victory. They won the game by the final of 121-113.

Colton Iverson had 17 points and Al Nolen Jr had 22 points and Jamil Staten had 15 points. Dan Colman had 22.
