ORONO WENT UP AGAINST OSSEO IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

Orono and Osseo went up against each other in a basketball game.

Osseo looked to push the ball down the floor as they looked to score baskets in transition. Osseo had trouble hitting shots in the opening minutes of the game.

Orono was not afraid to shoot the deep three-point basket. They were successful at hitting open shots.

Osseo’s Allen Anderson was all over the floor. He was able to hit mid-range jump shots and layups.

Orono settled for deep three-point shots but were unsuccessful at hitting them.

Orono called a timeout with 1:46 left in the first half. The score was Orono 28, Osseo 26.

Orono took their time on the offensive end. They passed the ball around the three-point line as they looked for shots that they wanted to take.

At halftime the score was Orono 32, Osseo 29.

As the second half got underway the score continued to go back and forth. Neither team went on a run.

After a slow start the Osseo offense started to come to life. They made better passes on the offensive end and were able to slow down Orono on defense.

Osseo came up with some nice fast break layups. They were able to get past the Orono defenders.

Orono took deep three-point shots. They were not able to hit the deep shots that they took but they were looking to get back into an offensive attack mode late in the second half.

After a slow start Osseo turned on the offense in the second half. They got the ball into the hands of Allen Anderson who came up with some big shots.


Osseo came away with the 75-52 victory over Orono. Anderson finished with 18 points.
