HENRY SIBLEY TOOK ON DULUTH EAST AT THE MINNETONKA FALL LEAGUE

Henry Sibley took on Duluth East in the Minnetonka boys’ basketball fall league. Both teams came out playing very aggressively. Neither team was able to go on a run early in the first half.

Henry Sibley started out in a full court press. They wanted to put pressure on Duluth East from the beginning.
Henry Sibley was able to knock down some three-point shots in the middle of the first half.

Duluth East played mostly tough man-to-man defense in the first half. They didn’t give up. They really fought for the ball, often diving on the ground for loose balls.

At the end of the first half the score was Henry Sibley 34 and Duluth East 42.

Both teams came out fired up to play in the second half. Sibley was able to come out and make shots early in the second half.

Both teams really dove after loose balls throughout the game. There were many jump balls in the game. Dymai Starks played a good game for Duluth East. He got his teammates involved in the plays. He was not afraid to take it strong to the basket.

Both teams did a really good job on the defensive end by boxing out around the basket. Both teams didn’t give up. They both played hard throughout the game. Even though the Duluth East players were visibly upset with some of the calls that were being made they came out and played hard the whole game.

Henry Sibley was able to come away with the 75-61 victory. They really did a good job of finding the basket and they knew where they were supposed to be on the court.
