HOPKINS TOOK ON ORONO IN THE MINNETONKA BOYS’ BASKETBALL FALL LEAGUE

In the second game of the Minnetonka boys’ basketball fall league Orono took on Hopkins. Hopkins started the game in a man-to-man defense.

Hopkins went on a run to open up the game. Orono was not able to get into the flow of the game from the beginning.

Marvin Singletary found the basket early on. He was able to make shots that he was putting up. Joe Coleman had some nice rebounds underneath the basket throughout the first half.

Orono was not able to make the shots that they were putting up. They had a tough time getting into their offense.

On the defensive end Orono played mostly man-to-man defense. They wanted to try to slow Hopkins down. They were not successful at doing that throughout the first half.

Joe Coleman played tough. He was able to find his teammates and wasn’t afraid to share the ball.

At halftime the score was Hopkins 32 and Orono 14

Hopkins was able to make a small run in the middle of the second half. Orono was not able to get into their shooting rhythm during the game.

I thought that Hopkins was too quick for Orono. Hopkins was able to run away with the game early in the game. Both Joe Coleman and Marvin Singletary played well for Hopkins.

Hopkins was able to cruse to a 60-36 victory over Orono.
