Rice Lake (WI) took on Bloomington Jefferson in the fall basketball league. Rice Lake stated out the game in a zone defense. Jefferson also started the game out in a zone defense.

Neither team was able to make shots that they were putting up early in the game. The defensive pressure was very good by both teams. It was difficult for both teams to make shots early on in the first half.

There was not much scoring in the first half. Both teams did look to shoot but they were not making them.

Both teams looked to push the ball up the court in the first half.

At halftime the score was Rice Lake 16 and Bloomington Jefferson 16.

Wally Ellenson who is from Rice Lake is one of the top recruits in the class of 2012 according to many recruiting services.

I thought that Wally played well throughout the game. He knew where his teammates were on the court all the time. He also came up with a few nice slam dunks in the second half. I also thought that his handles were pretty good.

The game remained close throughout the second half. Wally Ellenson provided a few highlights with his amazing slam dunking skills.

Bloomington Jefferson looked for the three-point shot throughout the second half. They wanted to stay in the ball game.

Bloomington Jefferson tried to make a comeback late in the game but they were unsuccessful. Rice Lake was able to come away with the 46-43 victory over Bloomington Jefferson.
