OSSEO TOOK ON PRIOR LAKE IN THE MINNESOTA BREAKDOWN TIP-OFF CLASSIC

In the third game of the Minnesota Breakdown Tip-Off Classic Osseo took on Prior Lake. Both teams came into the game with a record of 1-0.

Both teams looked to get into the grove early on.

Prior Lake called a timeout with 10:50 left in the first half. The score was Osseo 12 and Prior Lake 10.

Prior Lake looked to score baskets in transition. As they were able to score on their fast break opportunities.

The score went back and forth throughout the first half. Neither team went on a run in the first half.

Prior Lake played mostly zone defense. Osseo was able to shoot the gaps in the defense and get to the basket.

Prior Lake went on a run late in the half. They were able to drop some late three-point shots.

At halftime the score was Prior Lake 31 and Osseo 27.

Osseo's Bridge Tusler was able to step back and drain a few long three-point shots. On the low block Ian Theisen and Carson Shanks battled on the low block for rebounds. They were each able to get their share of the boards.

Prior Lake continued to hit their shots. Osseo didn't back down.

DJ Hebert was able to knock down some deep three-point shots. With Hebert’s three-pointing shooting that kept Osseo in the game.

Osseo went on a run late in the game. The game came down to the wire.

Osseo called a timeout with 1:16 left in regulation. The score was Osseo 55 and Prior Lake 53.

The score was tied at 55 with a minute to go. Osseo worked the ball around the three-point line.

Osseo called a timeout with 15.2 seconds left and the game was tied at 55.

The game was tied at 55 the end of regulation.

Both teams traded baskets in the over time period. Osseo continued to get the ball into Tusler's hands.

Prior Lake came in within one and called a timeout with 53.2 seconds left in the overtime period.

Osseo came away with the thrilling 70-67 victory over Prior Lake.

The leading scorers for Prior Lake were Jon Sokaski with 19 points, Jack Harrison 14 points, Matt Dysthe with 14 points.

The leading scorers for Osseo were Darren James Herbert with 22 points, Bridge Tusler with 21 points and Ian Theisen with 7 points.
