ROOSEVILLE TOOK ON ROCORI IN THE MINNESOTA BREAKDOWN TIP-OFF CLASSIC

In the first game of The Minnesota Breakdown Tip-Off Classic Roseville took on Rocori. Both teams came into the game with a record of 1-0.

Roseville started the game off in a zone defense. Roseville looked to get the ball into the hands of Logan Donald Brown. Brown looked to get past his defenders.

Rocori took their time on the offensive end. They passed the ball around the three-point line as they looked to take time off the clock. Rocori did a good job of getting everyone involved into the offense.

It took a while for both of these teams to figure each other out.

Roseville took a timeout with 12:15 left in the first half. The score was Rocori 11 and Roseville 9.

The score went back and forth throughout the first half.

Roseville's guard Mackenzie Johnson was able to get his to get his jump shot going as he was able to knock down some mid-range jump shots.

Rocori took a timeout with 8:02 left I the first half. The score was Roseville 22 and Rocori 15.

Roseville went to a zone full court press. They wanted to put a little bit of pressure on the Rocori guards.

Rocori went on a run after the timeout.

Roseville called a timeout with 6:29 left in the first half. The score was Roseville 22 and Rocori 21.

Both teams traded baskets late in the first half. Neither team gave up easy shots in the first half.

At halftime the score was Roseville 40 and Rocori 26.

Rooseville's Emeche Wells took the ball hard to the basket. Wells was able to hit baskets. Wells was all over the court. He was able to slow down his defenders.

Rocori didn't get discouraged when their shots were not falling. They kept on taking the ball hard to the basket and going after loose balls.

Rocori took a timeout with 15:01 left in regulation. The score was Roseville 48 and Rocori 32.

Rocori went on a run and then called a timeout with 12:47 left in regulation the score was 58-38 Roseville

Johnson was all over the court for Roseville. Johnson really shot the ball well throughout the game.

Rocori was not able to catch up to Roseville In a hard fought game Roseville came away with the 77-52 victory over Rocori.

The leading scorers for Roseville were Mackenzie Johnson with 29 points, Jordan Burich 10, Collin Johnson 7, and Emeche Wells 7.

The leading scorers for Rocori were Jonah Eisenschenk with 25 points and Nathan Meyer with 9 points.
