KITTSON COUNTY CENTRAL TOOK ON GRAND MEADOW IN THE 9-MAN STATE FOOTBALL STATE SEMIFINALS

Kittson County Central (KCC) went up against Grand Meadow in a nine-man state football semifinal game.
 
Grand Meadow kicked off to KCC to start the game.  KCC was not able to get a first down on their first drive so they punted the ball on fourth down.
 
Grand Meadow got the ball and was able to move the ball down the field.
 
After one quarter of play the score was tied at 0.
 
Grand Meadow looked to get into the end zone and they did that on a Landon Jacobson one-yard run.
 
The extra point attempt was good. With 10:21 left in the second quarter the score was Grand Meadow 7, KCC 0.
 
Grand Meadow came up with some nice plays midway through the second quarter. Trenton Bleifus found the end zone on a five-yard touchdown run. The extra point was good.
 
KCC got the ball after the touchdown but they turned it over on downs.
 
With 6:49 left in the second quarter the score was Grand Meadow 14, KCC 0.
 
Grand Meadow continued to look down the field as they looked to spread out the field.
 
Grand Meadow turned the ball over on an interception.
 
At halftime the score was Grand Meadow 14, KCC 0.
 
Grand Meadow got the ball to start the third quarter.  Grand Meadow got a touchdown on a Bleifus 20-yard pass to Michael Stejskal. The extra point attempt was good.
 
With 8:21 left in the third quarter the score was Grand Meadow 21, KCC 0.
 
Both teams continued to look to get the ball down the field.
 
After three quarters of play the score remained Grand Meadow 21, KCC 0.
 
Grand Meadow turned the ball over on downs and KCC got the ball deep in their zone.
 
Both teams continued to move the ball well in the fourth quarter.
 
KCC’s Drew Olsonawski completed a 49-yard pass to Fernando Blanco for a touchdown. The extra point attempt was good. With 4:52 left in the fourth quarter the score was Grand Meadow 21, KCC 7.
 
Both teams fought hard until the end. Grand Meadow came away with the 21-7 victory over KCC.
