MINNEAPOLIS PATRICK HENRY TOOK ON ST. PAUL COMO PARK IN THE JR VARSITY TWIN CITIES CHAMPIONSHIP BOYS BASKETBALL GAME

Henry and Como Park went up against each other in a boys’ basketball game. Each of these teams won their conference in the Junior Varsity division.

Henry started the game in a zone defense.

Como Park looked to push the ball down the floor as they looked to score baskets in transition.

The defensive pressure that each team applied made it difficult for each team to get good looks at the basket.

The score went back and forth throughout the first half. Neither team went on a run.

Como Park went to a zone defense late in the first half. Henry was able to attack the zone defense and was able to shoot mid-range jump shots out of it.

At halftime the score was Henry 23, Como Park 19.

As the second half got underway Henry continued to attack the basket in the second half.
Como Park didn’t give up any easy shots.

There were several ties and lead changes throughout the second half.

Como Park’s Ibrhim Isse came up with some nice mid-range jump shots in the second half.

The game came down to the wire.

Comp Park came away with the 58-54 victory over Henry.
