ST. LOUIS PARK TOOK ON OSSEO IN THE MINNETONKA BOYS’ BASKETBALL FALL LEAGUE


St. Louis Park took on Osseo in the Minnetonka boys’ basketball fall league. Osseo looked to score baskets in transition. St. Louis Park had trouble keeping up with Osseo.


Osseo started the game in a zone defense. They wanted to spread St Louis Park out. They were able to contest St. Louis Park’s shots. Osseo was successful doing that.


St. Louis Park did a good job of making baskets in transition. They did a good job of making Osseo get out and guard them.


Osseo went on a run midway through the first half. St. Louis Park could not end up making a shot for a good three minutes in the first half. Osseo was able to capitalize on that as they were able to make shots.


Both teams dove on the floor for loose balls. They each played with a lot of emotion.


At halftime the score was Osseo 27 and St. Louis Park 18.


As the second half got underway both teams started out playing aggressively. They went after each other. Osseo did a good job of swinging the ball around the three point arch looking for a good shot. They did not rush their shots.


Osseo was too strong for St. Louis Park. St. Louis Park had a tough time making shots throughout the game and Osseo was able to capitalize on that. St. Louis was able to make a late run on Osseo. In the end Osseo came away with the 64-52 victory over St. Louis Park.
