THE CROMWELL CARDINALS WERE FROZEN BY THE ESKIMOS OF ESKO IN A BOYS' BASKETBALL GAME AT THE TARGET CENTER

Cromwell and Esko both traveled to downtown Minneapolis to the Target Center for a boys' basketball game. Coming into the game Cromwell had a record of 9-13. Esko came into the game with a record of 18-5.

Esko came out on fire they were able make their shots. They did a good job of moving the ball around
the three-point line.

Cromwell came alive as they were able to string some baskets together.

Cromwell used a zone defense. They wanted to spread Esko out. Esko did a good job of getting the ball to their inside guys.

Esko was able to trap Cromwell in the corners. That created turnovers. Esko was able to score off of the turnovers.

Jake Ramberg for Cromwell took the ball hard to the basket. He was able to score on wide-open layups.

Esko did a good job of attacking the basket. They were able to blow by the Cromwell defenders.

Cromwell took a timeout with 4:41 left to go in the first half. The score was Esko 33 and Cromwell 20.

Esko continued to hit shots late in the first half. Cromwell went cold after that timeout. They were not
able to make a field goal in the last 4:41 of the first half.

At halftime the score was Esko 42 and Cromwell 21.

Esko started the second half out in a zone defense. Esko played zone throughout the game.

Esko continued to shoot the ball well throughout the second half.

The Esko Eskimos were able freeze the Cardinals. The final of the game was Esko 73 and Cromwell
38.

 Esko was led in scoring by Jackson Lindquist with 22 points and Jake Strainbrook with 21 points. 

They shot 24-63 from the field including 11-29 from behind the three-point line. Esko also shot 14-17 from the free throw line.

Cromwell was led in scoring by Pat Dahl with 19 points. They shot 14-50 from the field including 5-16 from behind the three-point line. Cromwell also shot 5-10 from the free throw line.
