EDINA TOOK ON WAYZATA IN THE MINNETONKA FALL BOYS’ BASKETBALL LEAGUE

Edina and Wayzata went up against each other in a basketball game. It took a while for each team to figure out what the other team was doing.

Wayzata found the basket early as they were able to make baskets in transition.

Edina struggled on the offensive end. They were not able to make the jump shots and layups that they were taking early.

Even though that Edina looked for shots, they were not able to make them. Edina didn’t give up as they kept on shooting the ball.

At halftime the score was Wayzata 20, Edina 5.

As the second half got underway, Edina kept on attacking the basket. They were not able to hit shots but they did make an effort to put up quality shots.

Edina was able to get their shots to drop in the second half. They were able to get some open looks at the basket and as a result they were able to string baskets together

Edina was able to slow down the Wayzata offense down in the second half.

Wayzata was too much for Edina to handle. Wayzata came away with the 54-36 victory over Edina.
