HENRY AND ARMSTRONG WENT UP AGAINST EACH OTHER IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

In the final game of the day on Oct. 27, Minneapolis Henry and Robbinsdale Armstrong went up against each other. The score went back and forth early in the game. Neither team went on a run in the first six minutes of the game.

Armstrong was able to able to make easy baskets on layups. They knew where each other was on the floor and they were able to give the ball to each other.

Shots were hard to come by for each team because the defensive pressure was very good. Both teams seemed to figure out what the other team was doing.

At halftime the score was Henry 27, Armstrong 21.

As the second half got underway both teams looked to keep attacking the basket. Both teams looked relaxed and confident in their shooting.

The score went back and forth midway through the second half. There were many ties and lead changes.

Armstrong strung some baskets together late in the second half and Henry couldn’t hit shots for a period of time.

In a game that had a lot of action, Armstrong came away with the 64-56 victory over Henry.
