MINNEAPOLIS SOUTHWEST TOOK ON TOTINO-GRACE IN A BOYS' BASKETBALL GAME

The Minneapolis Southwest Lakers took on Totino-Grace Eagles in a boys' basketball game. Southwest came into the game with a record of 2-7. Totino-Grace had a record of 1-4.

Southwest looked to set the tempo of the game early. Southwest looked to get the ball out of the net and get it to one of the guards who would bring it down the court.

Southwest got the ball into the hands of Josh Barnes. Barnes drove hard to the basket and looked for his shot.

Totino-Grace took their time on the offensive end. They passed the ball around the three-point line as they wanted to take as much time off the clock as they could.

Both teams exchanged baskets for a good portion of the time in the first half. Neither team was able to go on a run.

Southwest took a timeout with 9:44 left in the first half. The score was Totino-Grace 15 and Southwest 13.

Totino-Grace took the ball hard to the hole. They were able to hit shots. Zach Wicker for Totino-Grace was able to block the Southwest players’ shots.

Totino-Grace continued to hit their shots. Southwest couldn't hit the basket. Totino-Grace was too physical for Southwest.

Both teams played hard. Totino-Grace came away with the 64-50 victory over Southwest.

The leading scorers for Southwest were Josh Barnes with 14 points and Demetrius Cady with 9 points.

The leading scorers for Totino-Grace were Nick Carr with 15 points and Andrew Mortiko with 14 points.
