HARRISBURG WENT UP AGAINST ST. PAUL HIGHLAND PARK IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

Harrisburg went up against St. Paul Highland Park in a boys’ basketball game. Harrisburg got the ball into the hands of Cody Eide and Jayce Corlett. They both came up with mid-range jump shots and layups in the first quarter.

Highland Park looked to score baskets in transition. They did a good job of getting everyone involved in the offense.

After one quarter of play the score was Harrisburg 20, Highland Park 19. 

Eide did a good job of getting to the basket and making shots. He was able to hit mid-range jump shots.
There were several ties and lead changes in the first half. 

Harrisburg did a good job of getting everyone involved in the offense. They spread the ball around the floor and used a lot of time off the 35 second shot clock.

The score continued to go back and forth late in the second quarter. 

At halftime the score was Harrisburg 39, Highland Park 38.

Both teams attacked the basket and came up with layups in the third quarter. Harrisburg’s Edie and Justin Jacobson both came up with layups in the third quarter.

Highland Park’s Mike Cornelius came up with jump shots in the third quarter. The defense has a difficult time slowing him down on the defensive end.

After three quarters of play the score was Highland Park 54, Harrisburg 50.

The game was close throughout neither team went on a huge run. There were several ties and lead changes late in the game.

Highland Park came away with the 68-65 victory over Harrisburg.

The leading scorers for Harrisburg were Eide with 21 points and Jacobson with 21 points.

The leading scorer for High Land Park was Cornelius with 16 points.
