WESTERN CHRISTIAN WENT UP AGAINST LENNOX IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

Western Christian and Lennox squared off in a boys’ basketball contest. Western Christian pushed the ball down the floor and looked to score layups in transition.

Western Christian looked to get the ball into the hands of Josh Vanlingen. Vanlingen came up with mid-range jump shots and layups in the first quarter.

Western Christian played zone defense in the first quarter. They looked to make Lennox shoot deep shots.

After one quarter of play the score was Western Christian 19, Lennox 14.

Lennox looked to make fast break layups.

Western Christian was able to get the ball into the hands of Jesse Jansma who came up with layups.

Lennox called a timeout with 5:03 left in the second quarter. The score was Western Christian 27, Lennox 14.

Western Christian continued to come up with layups late in the second quarter. They were able to come up with steals and make fast breaks.

At halftime the score was Western Christian 31, Lennox 23.

Lennox looked to get the ball into the hands of Jacob Hinker, John Oldenkamo and Nathan Timmerman all who could shoot the ball well.

Western Christian’s Jesse Jansma and Josh VanLingen both came up with mid-range jump shots. The defense had a hard time slowing them down.

Western Christian’s defense game Lennox problems in the third quarter. Lennox wasn’t able score baskets let a lot get an uncontested shot off.

Western Christian played zone defense in the third quarter. They wanted Lennox to shoot deep shots.

After three quarters of play the score was Western Christian 45, Lennox 27.

Western Christian continued to move the ball down the floor and score take a lot of time off the 35 second shot clock.

Western Christian was too much for Lennox. Western Christian came away with the 53-35 victory over Lennox.

The leading scorers for Western Christian were Jansma and VanLingen each with 15 points.

The leading scorers for Lennox were Hinker and Timmerman each with 10 points.
