HIGH SCHOOL FOR RECORDING ARTS WENT UP AGAINST ESKO IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

High School For Recording Arts and Esko went up against each other in a boys’ basketball game. Both teams raced up and down the floor looking for their shots early. 

Esko moved the ball down the floor well to start the game. Esko’s James LeGarde came up with mid-range jump shots and layups. 

HSRA called a timeout with 13:42 left in the first half. The score was Esko 14, HSRA 2. 

HSRA couldn’t find their early in the first half. They struggled to shoot the ball. 

Esko’s Payton Wefel came up with mid-range jump shots and layups in the first half. His teammates were able to get him the ball in spots where he could shoot it. 

Esko used their quickness to get past the HSRA defense. HSRA got the ball into the hands of Jacquez Fondern. Fondern came up with mid-range jump shots and layups in the first half. 

HSRA called a timeout with 5:22 left in regulation. The score was Esko 38, HSRA 8. 

HSRA struggled shooting the ball in the second half. They took shots but they couldn’t make shots that they took.  

Wefel continued to come up with mid-range jump shots and layups in the first half. His teammates did a good job of getting him the ball in spots where he could shoot it. 

Esko called a timeout with 1:45 left in the first half. The score was Esko 50, HSRA 10. 

Esko continued to push the ball down the floor and make shots in transition. 

At halftime, the score was Esko 60, HSRA 10.

As the second half got underway Esko looked to get the ball into the hands of James LeGarde, Payton Wefel and Riley Fischer all who came up with mid-range jump shots and layups. The defense couldn’t slow them down. 

Esko was able to come up with steals on the defensive end and turn them into layups on offense. Esko took their time on the offensive end as they passed the ball around the 3-point line. 

HSRA called a timeout with 12:07 left in regulation. The score was Esko 69, HSRA 11. 

HSRA moved the ball down the floor in the second half and looked for their shots. Fondern came up with mid-range jump shots and layups in the second half. 

Esko’s Cade Berger came up with layups late in the game. The defense had a tough time slowing him down. 

HSRA couldn’t hit shots that they put up. Even though they struggled shooting the ball they kept shooting the ball. 

Esko ran away with the 83-29 victory over HSRA. 

The leading scorers for Esko were Legrade with 20 points and Wefel with 16 points. 

The leading scorer for HSRA was Fondern with 14 points.
