In the second class AAA semi final Eden Prairie took on Centennial. The winner of this game gets a match up against Minneapolis South in the championship game.
Centennial was able come out and get a big lead early. They were able to hit some big shots early. Both teams went back and forth. Eden Prairie played tough on the defensive end.
Kristin Bradley of Centennial came out and played hard on both ends of the court. Both teams looked to push the ball up the court.
Both teams went up and down the court and at half time the score was Eden Prairie 30 and Centennial 32.
Both teams came out fired up in the second half. The score was close throughout the game. Centennial played a tough man to man defense. They were able to apply pressure on Eden Prairie guards.
Both teams look to get the ball up the court. Megan Waytashek played well in this game she was able to come up and make some outstanding plays though out this game. She also was able to come up and make some good shots down the stretch.
Centennial was way too powerful for Eden Prairie and they were able to dominate the second half. Eden Prairie was able to make a run at Centennial in the second half. They were able to get the score within 4 points near the end of the game.
This game went back and forth till the final buzzer. Centennial was able to come away with the victory 65-56 victory.
For Eden Prairie the leading scorer was Morgan Van-Riper Rose with 14 and Carly Rothfucsz with 13 points.
For Centennial the leading scorer was Brdget Schuneman with 22 points.
Centennial will play Minneapolis South in the Championship game.
