The Jordan Jaguars took on Blue Earth in the final Wednesday night class AA quarter final game of the day.
Blue Earth came out on fire. Then Jordan was able to find there shot. Both of these teams went back and forth in the first half.
Both teams really played well and went up and down the court in the first half. Each teams played good on the ball defense.
Blue Earth was able to play strong defense down the stretch in the first half. The first half was a really played tough defense. Neither team is going to let the other one push them around.
Jordan had trouble making shots in the first half. They shot 24.1% from the field. The score at half time was Jordan 19 and Blue Earth Area 17.
As the second half got underway both teams came out firing on all cylinders. Jordan’s Brittney Chambers came out on fire in the second half.
Both teams came out ready to play in the second half. Jordan put on the press in the second half. They wanted to get Blue Earth out of there rhyme in the second half.
Jordan was able to go on a run midway through the second half. Blue Earth was able to keep the pursuer on but Jordan did a better job of getting the ball inside out.
Blue Earth couldn’t really turn the corner in the second half. After Jordan went on a run mid way through the second half Blue Earth couldn’t get back into the game. They played hard the whole game and didn’t give up.
Jordan was able to hang on and get the victory in a hard fought game. The final of the game was Jordan 49 and Blue Earth Area 40.
The leading scores for Blue Earth were Morgan Dickman with 10 points, Kate Hassing with 10 points. The leading scorers for Jordan were Leah Dietel with 14 points Michelle O’Malley with 13 points and Brittany Chambers with 10 points.
