MINNEAPOLIS SOUTH TOOK ON CENTENNIAL IN CLASS AAAA CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Minneapolis South took on Centennial in the class AAA championship game. Both of these teams came up fired up ready to play. Minneapolis South Started in a zone defense. They wanted to get out and run.
Both of these teams really came out and looked to shoot the ball. Both of these teams really got the ball up and down the court.
Both of these teams went at each other in the first half. Tyisha Smith went down with a knee injury with 4:50 left to go in the first half.
Both of these teams really played tough hard defense in the first half. Centennial hung right in there with South throughout the first half.
Tayler Hill has shown once again why she is she is one of the top players in the state. She has continued to come out and play tough aggressively.
Minneapolis South played a tough zone defense. Centennial was able to contain Minneapolis South.
Tayler Hill has put in an outstanding performance in this game. She is one of the reasons that South is in this game.
Both of these teams really played hard. Minneapolis South’s Taylor Hill has gotten Minneapolis South back into this game. She took over in the second half.
South continued to push the ball up the court throughout the second half. They made a run and they were able to come back and take the lead.
Minneapolis South was able to come away with the victory 68-61 victory. Tayler Hill scored 47 points.
