JORDAIR ALLEN JETT COMES UP BIG IN SECOND HALF CARRIES ST BERNARD’S INTO CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

In the class AA semifinal it was St Bernard’s taking on Plainview Elgin Millville. (PEM) The winner goes on and plays in the Class AA championship game. Avery Duncan had some nice moves early in the game.

Jordair Jett is one of St Bernard’s vocal leaders on the team. He knows what the game situations are and his teammates look for him to be a vocal leader on the court. He is also one of the leading scorers on the team. Coming into the tournament he averaged 20.21 points per game.

St Bernard’s looked to trap the ball in the first half. Trent Davis is another one of St Bernard’s floor leaders. Both Jordair and Trent carry this St Bernard’s team. If they are not clicking the team is not clicking.

St Bernard’s was able to spread PEM out. PEM had to swing the ball around the three point arch. St Bernard’s had to get out on the PEM shooters.

Both of these teams went at each other throughout the first half. PEM was able to go on a little run late in the first half.

This game went up and down the court the whole first half. At the half the score was PEM 31 and St Bernard’s 26.

Both of these teams came out swinging in the second half. Neither team gave up in the second half.
