MINNEAPOLIS SOUTH TOOK ON ROBINSDALE COOPER IN SECOND GAME OF THE QUARTERFINAL OF THE SECTION TOURNAMENT

Coming off an impressive two point victory in the previous game tonight we now have Minneapolis South and Robbinsdale Cooper.

Minneapolis South was looking to spread the floor out and taking their time on the offensive end. Tayler Hill played aggressive from the start. South was able get a quick lead on the Hawks.

South started playing tough man to man defense. Cooper tried to make little runs at South during the first half but it seemed that Tayler Hill and the South Tigers always had a response for the Cooper runs.

South played hard and with a lot of emotion in the first half. They really came out fired up and ready to play. Tyisha Smith made some nice moves in the first half. She was able to juke her opponents and take some nice drives to the basket.

Minneapolis South took a 38-11 lead to go into half time.

As the second half got underway South looked very strong. They were playing very aggressively to start the second half. South dominated the whole game.

Cooper played hard the whole game but South was just too much for the Hawks to handle. South just continued to put up numbers and played very aggressively.

South was able to come way handily with the 64-40 victory.
