ABRAHAM LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL WENT UP AGAINST CHAMPLIN PARK IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

Abraham Lincoln High School out of Council Bluffs Iowa went up against Champlin Park High School at the Target Center as park of the Minnesota Timberwolves Shootout.

Champlin Park pushed the ball down the floor as they looked to score baskets in transition.

Lincoln’s Kyle Crowl and Tony Bonner came up with mid-range jump shots and layups in the first half. Their teammates did a good job of getting them the ball in spots where they could shoot it.

At halftime the score was Champlin Park 37, Lincoln 15.

Champlin Park got everyone involved in the offense. They passed the ball around the three-point line to take time off the clock.

Champlin Park’s Aaron Kloeppner came up with mid-range jump shots and layups. His teammates did a good job of getting him the ball in spots where he could shoot it.

Lincoln had trouble shooting the ball throughout the game. They couldn’t make shots that they put up.

Champlin Park was too much for Lincoln.

Chmplin Park came away with the 76-45 victory over Lincoln.

The leading scores for Lincoln were Bonner with 15 and Jones with 14 points.

The leading scorers for Champlin Park were Kloppner with 15 points, D.J. Hunter 12, Theo John 11 points and McKinley Wright with 10 points.
