CENTRAL MINNESOTA CHRISTIAN WENT UP AGAINST MINNEAPOLIS NORTH IN A BOYS' BASKETBALL GAME

On Jan. 9, Central Minnesota Christian (CMC) went up against Minneapolis North in a boys' basketball game.

CMC started the game in a zone defense. They forced North to take deep 3-point baskets.

North called a timeout with 13:59 left in the first half. The score was CMC 7, North 2.

After the timeout North went on an 8-0 run.

CMC called a timeout with 12:44 left in the first half. The score was North 10, CMC 7.

North’s Jamil Jackson came up with mid-range jump shots and layups. North’s Tyler Johnson also came up with big baskets.

CMC called a timeout with 9:09 left in the first half. The score was North 19, CMC 14.

CMC wasn’t afraid to take deep 3-point shots. They passed the ball around to each other and communicated with each other.

North stepped up their defensive pressure and was able to slow down CMC on the offensive end.

CMC struggled to shoot the ball late in the first half.

At halftime the score was North 49, CMC 29.

As the second half got underway North continued to push the ball down the floor and score baskets in transition.

North continued to make baskets in transition.

North was quicker than CMC throughout the game. North made baskets in transition.

North looked to take time off the clock late in the game.

North came away with the 79-49 victory over CMC.

The leading scorer for CMC was Ethan Brouwer with 14 points.

The leading scorers for North were Tyler Johnson with 20 and Jamil Jackson with 15 points.
