WAYZATA WENT UP AGAINST APPLE VALLEY IN A BOYS' BASKETBALL GAME

Wayzata and Apple Valley squared off in a boys' basketball game. Apple Valley started in a zone defense. They wanted to make Wayzata take deep three-point shots.

Apple Valley’s Tre Jones was all over the floor. He drove to the basket and was able to come up with mid-range jump shots and layups.

Wayzata looked to get the ball into the hands of Gavin Baumgartner who came up with mid-range jump shots and layups.

Apple Valley started out slow on the offensive end. They were not able to hit shots early.

After a slow start Apple Valley got their shots to fall.

At halftime the score was Apple Valley 40, Wayzata 39.

As the second half for underway the score went back and forth.

Apple Valley’s Kirksey came up with mid-range jump shots and layups. His teammates did a good job of getting him the ball where he could shoot it.

Apple Valley’s Jordan Bolton came up with mid-range jump shots and layups in transition.

Apple Valley got hot in the second half offensively. They were able to knock down shots. Cameron
Kirksey came up with a huge two handed slam dunk.

Apple Valley came away with the 85-72 victory over Wayzata.

The leading scorer for Wayzata was Lindberg with 20 points.

The leading scorers for Apple Valley were Trent Jr with 20 points and Kirksey with 19 points.
