COLUMBUS CATHOLIC WENT UP AGAINST HERITAGE CHRISTIAN IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

Cretin-Derham Hall was the site of the 2015 Wisconsin vs. Minnesota Border Battle. In the first game Columbus Catholic went up against Heritage Christian.

Heritage did a good job of swinging the ball around the 3-point line. They were able to come up with mid-range jump shots and layups in the first half.

Columbus Catholic had a difficult time scoring in the first half. The defensive pressure that Heritage Christian applied made it difficult for Columbus Catholic to make their shots.

Columbus Catholic got the ball the ball into the hands of Hunter Schultz. Schultz came up with huge baskets for his team throughout.

Heritage shot the ball well throughout the first half. At halftime the score was Heritage 32, Columbus Catholic 17.

As the second half got underway Columbus came out shooting the ball well. Columbus got the ball into the hands of Brett Loveland who came up with mid-range jump shots and 3-point baskets.

Heritage got the ball into the hands of C.J. Woda. Woda got to the basket and made shots.

Heritage was quicker than Columbus throughout the game.

Heritage came away with the 68-55 victory over Columbus.

The leading scorer for Columbus was Schultz with 18 points.

The leading scorer for Heritage was Woda with 16 points.
