CRETIN-DERHAM HALL WENT UP AGAINST ST. PAUL JOHNSON IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

Cretin-Derham Hall went up against St. Paul Johnson. The score went back and forth early.


Cretin-Derham Hall’s Sam Neumann came up with mid-range jump shots and layups in the first half.

Johnson struggled to shoot the ball in the early going. They were not able to hit shots that they put up.

Cretin-Derham Hall came fast break layups and mid-range jump shots throughout the first half.

Cretin-Derham Hall called a timeout with 8:39 left in the first half. The score was Cretin-Derham Hall 22, St. Paul Johnson 14.

Cretin-Derham Hall passed the ball around the 3-point line as they looked to work the ball inside.

Johnson kept shooting late in the first half. They were able to turn steals into layups.

At halftime the score was Cretin-Derham Hall 34. Johnson 29.

 As the second half got underway Johnson guard Jalen Mobley came up with huge layups. He was able to get out and run the floor and make plays in traffic.

Johnson called a timeout with 11:19 left in regulation. The score was Cretin-Derham Hall 56, Johnson 44.

Johnson couldn’t get their offense going throughout the game. They struggled to score baskets in the second half.

Johnson got hot late in the game. They came up with huge baskets as a team.

Cretin-Derham Hall came away with the 88-83 victory over Johnson.

The leading scorers for Johnson were Elliot with 28 points and Mobley with 17 points.

The leading scorers for Cretin-Derham Hall were Rosga with 27 points, Newman with 25 points and Gresham with 23 points.
