123PRINT.COM TOOK ON EL-AMIN FISH HOUSE IN THE HOWARD PULLEY PRO CITY SUMMER LEAGE


123Print.com took on El-Amin Fish House in a basketball game as part of the Howard Pulley Pro City Summer League. 

The game got off to a quick start as each team wanted to set a quick tempo style of play. The score went back and forth.

Parris Dominique Kyles was all over the court for 123Print.com. He was able to blow by his defenders on offense and he wanted to take his shots from inside the three-point line.

Malik-El-Amin did a good job of getting the ball down the floor. He is quick and agile and was able to slip past his defenders. It took a while for each team to settle down and get into their scoring rhythm. The defensive pressure that each team applied forced their opponent to make adjustments on the offensive end.

It was a closely contested first quarter with 123 Print.com 24 and El-Amin Fish House 23.

Kendal Shell for 123Print.com had a nice shooting touch. He seemed to play with a lot of confidence and poise when he was on the floor. Shell was not afraid to shoot the ball from anywhere on the floor. He would also get his teammates involved in the offense.

As the second quarter got underway the pace of the game was slow. Each team took as much time off the clock as they could while looking for a good shot.

Levi Jones for El-Amin Fish House was camped out underneath the basket. His teammates did a good job of getting him the ball to him on the low block and then Jones would power it up to the basket.

Kevin Thompson for El-Amin Fish House made some nice offensive moves, however their team still trailed by 10 points. At halftime the score was 123Print.com 53 and El-Amin Fish House 43.

As the third quarter got underway both teams stepped up their defensive pressure. Neither team gave up easy baskets. El-Amin Fish House managed to erase their 10 point deficit and tie up the game. 123Print.com looked as if they were going to get the lead but El-Amin Fish House didn't want that to happen.

Riley Dearring took some good shots from inside the three-point line. 123Print.com went on a run late in the third quarter while El-Amin Fish House had trouble shooting the ball late in the third quarter.

At the end of the third quarter the score was 123Print.com 74 and El-Amin Fish House 64.

Both teams got chippy over some of the calls late in the contest but in the end cooler heads prevailed.

El-Amin went on a run in the fourth quarter. The game got sloppy near the 8:00 mark. Both teams looked discombobulated on both ends of the floor. After about 2:00 of unusual sloppy play both teams cleaned up their act and clamped down on both ends of the floor.

The play got rough near the end as both teams dove on the floor and went up for rebounds.

The game came down to the wire. The game was tied with 7.7 seconds left in regulation. The game was tied at 95 at the end of regulation.

In the overtime period both teams continued to get their shots off. The score went back and forth in the overtime period.

The game was intense as it had been throughout the regulation period.

El-Amin Fish House came away with the dramatic 105-101 victory over 123.Print.com

The leading scorers for 123Print.com were Will Graham with 27 points, Deandre “Bear” Townsend 21 points and Paris Kyles with 18 points.

The leading scorers for El-Amin Fish House were Drandon Bell with 25 points, Bruce Price with 20 points, and Jamel State with 29 points and Kevin Thompson with 7 points.

PELICAN RAPIDS TOOK ON MINNETONKA IN A HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' BASKETBALL GAME

Pelican Rapids took on Minnetonka in a boys' basketball game at the Target Center as part of the Timberwolves Shootout.

Minnetonka came on fire. Minnetonka's Latrell Diquan Love got hot early on. He was able to hit shots. On the defensive end he was able to slow down his opponent.

Pelican Rapids went to the basket and was able to get their shots off.

Minnetonka's Malcom More did a good job of shooting the ball. He was all over the court.

Pelican Rapids got the ball into the hands of Casey Bruggeman. Burggeman was able to knock down some mid-range jump shots.

Minnetonka was on fire throughout the first half. Pelican Rapids was not able to slow down Minnetonka on offense.

Love continued to shoot the ball. He was hot from everywhere on the court. His teammates did a good job of getting him the ball.

At halftime the score was Minnetonka 53 and Pelican Rapids 34.

Minnetonka kept on shooting the ball. They were not going to give up any easy shots.

Minnetonka went to a half court defense. Pelican Rapids had trouble shooting the ball. Even though they were not making shots they kept on shooting.

Minnetonka dominated the game in the second half. Pelican Rapids was not able to get into an offensive flow at all.

Minnetonka came away with the 86-66 victory over Pelican Rapids.

The leading scorers for Pelican Rapids were Casey Bruggeman with 17 points and Luke Halbakken with 16 points. They shot 25-58 from the field that included going 2-8 from behind the three-point line. They were 14-17 from the free throw line. They grabbed a total of 29 rebounds, 15 of them on the defensive end.

The leading scorers for Minnetonka were Latrell Diquan Love with 27 points, Tommy McDermott with 20 points and Riley Dearring with 17 points. Minnetonka shot 33-60 from the field. That included going 7-13 from behind the three-point line. They were 13-18 from the free-throw line. They grabbed 33 rebounds, 20 of them on the defensive end.

MINNETONKA TOOK ON ROGERS IN A BOYS' BASKETBALL GAME

Minnetonka took on Rogers in a boys’ basketball game. Both teams started out shooting the ball well.

Minnetonka's Riley Taylor Dearring took the ball hard to the basket. He was able to get fouled and was able to make his free throws.

Minnetonka started the game off on a run. Rogers didn't get frustrated however as they still looked to shoot the ball.

Minnetonka looked to get the ball into the hands of Latrell Diquan Love. Love mostly played on the low block. He was able to get the ball on the low block.

Rogers went on a shooting spree. The score went back and forth midway through the first half.

Minnetonka didn't get discouraged. They kept on fighting through the screens.

Minnetonka went on a run late in the first half. Dearring was all over the court. He was able to blow by his defenders and take the ball strong to the basket and he also was able to finish his lay-ups that he took.

At halftime the score was  Minnetonka 44 and Rogers 33.

Minnetonka looked to get the ball down the court as quickly as they could to start the second half.

Rogers came out in a zone defense. They were able to slow down the pace of the game that played into their favor.

The score went back and forth throughout the second half. Neither team gave up an easy shot.

Rogers didn't back down. They went on a run late in regulation. The game came down to the wire.

Minnetonka came up with the 93-82 victory over Rogers in a hard fought game.
