MILLER TIME TOOK ON INFORMATION INVESTORS IN THE HOWARD PULLEY PRO CITY SUMMER LEAGUE

Miller Time took on Investors in the Howard Pulley Pro City Summer League basketball game.
 
Miller Time started out strong as they were able to sink a few quick baskets early in the first quarter.
 
Information Investors also attacked the basket. They took a lot of time off of the clock as they looked to shoot the ball with around 10 seconds left on the shot clock.
 
Bruce Price played for Miller Time. Price went to the basket hard and was able to get his mid-range jump shot to fall in the first quarter.
 
Quinton Hooker  for Miller Time also stepped up and was able to knock down shots for his team.
 
The score was close throughout the first quarter.
 
After one quarter of play the score was Miller Time 28, Information Investors 20.
 
Neither team gave up easy shots in the second quarter. Information Investors kept on battling as they looked for their shots to drop in the second quarter.
 
Both teams continued to push the ball down the floor and look for layups in transition.  
 
Both teams traded baskets for a period of time. Neither team went on a run in the first half.
 
Information Investors stung some baskets together late in the second quarter.
 
At halftime the score was Miller Time 50, Information Investors 46.
 
As the third quarter got underway both teams continued to attack the basket. Information Investors strung some baskets together and kept the game competitive throughout the third quarter.
 
It was a competitive game throughout three quarters of play. Miller Time continued to turn on the jets offensively as they were able to crank out jump shots and layups throughout the quarter.
 
After three quarters of play the score was Miller Time 78, Information Investors 65.
 
Miller Time continued to shine in the fourth quarter. They didn’t back down to Information Investors.
 
Both teams played hard throughout the whole game.
 
Miller Time came away with the 112-86 victory over Information Investors.

PAT MADISON TOOK ON INFORMATION INVESTORS IN THE HOWARD PULLEY PRO CITY SUMMER LEAGUE

On July 20, at the High Performance Academy in Eagan, Minn. Pat Madison and Information Investors went up against each other in the Howard Pulley Pro City Summer League game.
 
Information Investors started off the game with a 14-0 lead to start the game because the Pat Madison players were late. They started the game midway through the second quarter.
 
Troy Bell for Pat Madison brought the ball down the floor for his team. He was able to get his team involved in the offense.
 
Both teams went really into the game. They both looked sloppy and lack luster as well as going through the motions.
 
Darren Glover for Pat Madison took the ball hard to the basket.
 
At halftime the score was Information Investors 34, Pat Madison 28.
 
As the third quarter got underway Bell got his shot going. Bell stepped up and was able to knock down some high shots for his team. If Bell thought that his teammate had a better shot he would pass it to them and Bell then would get the assist.
 
Pat Madison took their time of the offensive end. They were able to use the shot clock to their advantage. As they were able to get shots that they were able to make.
 
Jefferson Mason for Pat Madison found his long ball shot in the third quarter as he was able to drop some three-point shots midway through the quarter. His teammates did a good job of getting him the ball where he was able to hit shots.
 
Pat Madison hung on to the lead in the third quarter. Information Investors however attacked the basket and kept shooting the ball and hitting.
 
The score went back and forth throughout the later part of the third quarter. Neither team went on a run.
 
After three quarters of play the score was Information Investors 57, Pat Madison 55.
 
Bell continued to step up and knock down some big shots in the fourth quarter.
 
Information Investors got hot in the fourth quarter as they were able to knock down some quick baskets.
 
Both teams played hard and went after loose balls and rebounds.
 
Information Investors came away with the 85-81 victory over Pat Madison
 
Pat Madison would have won the game if they went subject to the 14 point deficit going into the game for players not showing up.
 
The leading scorers for Pat Madison were Jefferson Mason and Michael Campbell each with 25 points, and Troy Bell with 14 points.
 
The leading scorers for Information Investors were Xavier Crawford with 24 points, Alex Richter with 18 points and Darren Glover and Anthony Tucker each with 13 points.

HPA AND INFORMATION INVESTORS WENT UP AGAINST EACH OTHER IN THE HOWARD PULLEY PRO CITY SUMMER LEAGUE

On Tuesday July 16, HPA took on Information Investors in the Howard Pulley Pro City Summer League.  Both teams were aggressive at the start. Both teams were focused as they took the ball hard to the basket and they didn’t let the other team make easy baskets.
 
HPA looked to get the ball into the hands of guard Tyus Jones. Jones was all over the floor on the offensive end. If Jones thought he had a good shot he was not afraid to shoot the ball.
 
Darren Glover for Information Investors Group took the ball hard to the basket. He was able to get some good open jump shots in the first quarter.
 
Jones was able to make good shots and I thought that he had good court vision. He knew where his teammates were on the floor at all times.
 
Jones was also able to get teammate Reid Travis the ball on the low block. Travis had good power post moves in the low block where he did a good job of powering the ball up to get baskets.
 
After one quarter of play the score was Information Investors 29, HPA 24.
 
As the second quarter got underway, Information Investors strung some baskets together. They were really able to slow down the HPA offense.
 
Johnson and Jones had good communication with each other on both ends of the floor.
 
Information Investors were able to get some wide open lay-ups. HPA had a hard time slowing down Information Investors on the offensive end.
 
At halftime the score was Information Investors 66, HPA 56.
 
The third quarter got off to a quick start as both teams really tried to get to the basket by trying to hit lay-ups and jump shots.
 
Jones really came up with some big plays to keep his team in the contest. He had good court vision as he saw plays developing.
 
HPA continued to chip away at the deficit. They had a tough time doing it. They got to within 10 with just under 4:30 left in the third quarter
 
Both teams competed throughout the third quarter.
 
The score after three quarters of play was Information Investors 96, HPA 89.
 
The fourth quarter started off like the other three, quick. Both teams continued to push the ball down the floor and get easy baskets in the open court.
 
HPA started off the fourth quarter hot. They got within three at 96-99 with 7:41 left in regulation.
 
The score went back and forth with under 6:00 left in regulation.
 
Information Investors looked tired late in the fourth quarter. HPA used their quickness to their advantage to get by the Information Investors late in the contest.
 
The game came down to the wire. Information Investors came away with the 117-113 victory over HPA.
 
The leading scorers for HPA were Tyus Jones with 35 points, Reid Travis with 30 points, Jarvis Johnson with 14 points and Jake Write with 13 points.
 
The leading scorers for Information Investors were Darren Glover with 24 points, Alex Richter with 23 points.

ERROL CARLSTROM PLAYAZ TOOK ON INFORMATION INVESTORS IN THE HOWARD PULLEY PRO CITY SUMMER LEAGUE

On Wednesday July 10,2013 Errol Carlstrom Playaz went up against Information Investors in the Howard Pulley Pro City Summer League.

Both teams looked to push the ball down the floor early in the contest. They each looked to get fast break baskets.
 
Information Investors got out to an early 5-1 lead with 8:00 left in the first quarter.
 
Errol Carlstrom Playaz kept on shooting the ball and were able cut into the deficit, even taking the lead midway through the first quarter.
 
The score remained close midway through the first quarter. It didn’t take either team a long time to get used to what the other team was doing.
 
Errol Carlstrom Playaz looked to get baskets in transition. They were able to do that on easy layups.
There were many ties and lead changes late in the first quarter.
 
Cameron Rundles was all over the floor for Errol Carlstrom Playaz. Defensively he was able to get to the basket and score layups for his team. Defensively Rundles did a good job of slowing down the guy he was defending.  
 
At the end of the first quarter the score was Information Investors 26, Errol Carlstrom Playaz 22.
 
Darren Glover for Information Investors took the ball hard to the basket. He didn’t care if he got fouled. If Glover though that he had a good shot he would take it. He also showed good court vision, however, pass it off to one of his teammates for an assist if he didn’t have a good shot.
 
The score continued to back and forth throughout the second quarter. Neither team went on a run. I thought both teams played very well on the defensive end.
 
Marcus Alipate for Errol Carlstrom Playaz was all over the floor. Alipate had a nice mid-range jump shot that he shot and was dead-on. Defenders for Information Investors had a hard time guarding him because he was so quick and he had a good shot.
 
Information Investors did a good job of moving the ball down the floor. They were able to get into an offense and take time off the clock and get shots that were not forced and shots that they knew as a team that they could make. They also did a good job of rebounding on both ends of the floor.
 
Isaac Rosefelt for Information Investors Group came up with some nice shots for his team. His teammates got him the ball in clutch points in the contest. He came through for his team as he was able to get to the basket and make layups.  
 
At halftime the score was Information Investors 52, Errol Carlstrom Playaz 48.
 
As the third quarter got underway Information Investors came out and here able to hit a few quick jump shots. They were able to slow down the Errol Carlstrom Playaz on the offensive end.
 
Alipate continued to come up big as he was able to knock down deep three-point shots for his team.
His teammates did a good job of getting him the ball into spots where he could hit jump shots.
 
The score was once again tied at 58 with 6:00 left in the third quarter.
 
Both teams got three-ball happy in the third quarter as they looked to shoot quick three-point shots and get rebounds.
 
The score continued to go back and forth late in the third quarter.
 
Errol Carlstrom Playaz were still able to get layups on the fast break.  They were a little quicker getting back down the floor.
 
After three quarters of play the score was Errol Carlstrom Playaz 76, Information Investors 73.
 
Alipate continued to shoot the ball well in the fourth quarter. His teammates continued to get him the ball where he could hit shots.
 
Errol Carlstrom Playaz went on a run to start the fourth quarter. They had a 90-77 lead with 6:16 left in the fourth quarter.
 
Information Investors continued to shoot the ball late in the contest but they were not able to take the lead.
 
The game came down to the wire. In the end, however, Errol Carlstrom Playaz came away with the thrilling 102-98 victory over Information Investors.
 
The leading scorers for Information Investors were Isaac Rosefelt with 16 and Darren Glover with 20, and Alex Richter with 31.
 
The leading scorers for Errol Carlsrom Playaz were Marcus Alipate with 15, Tyler Cain with 14, Cameron Rundles with 41 and Connor Nord with 16 points.

INFORMATION INVESTORS GROUP TOOK ON TONY GEER GAZETTE IN THE HOWARD PULLEY PRO CITY SUMMER LEAGUE

Information Investors Group took on Tony Geer Gazette in a Howard Pulley Pro City Summer League men’s basketball game. There were no referees and to call the game so the players called their own fouls. They didn’t used the shot clock for this game either.
 
There were many players missing from both rosters, but they played anyway. Both teams walked the ball down the floor in the early goings. They each played lazy defense at the start.
 
Zach Lofton for Tony Geer Gazette found his shot clicking for him early. He was able to hit a nice 10 foot midrange jumper.
 
Information Investors Group stepped up their scoring productivity as they were able to score quick baskets in the first quarter.
 
At the end of the first quarter Information Investors Group led 29-19.
 
Information Investors Group was a little quicker than Tony Geer Gazette. Darren Glover for Information Investors Group was not afraid to shoot the ball from anywhere on the floor. He had a good spot up jump shot where he could shoot it from anywhere on the floor.
 
Tony Geer Gazette was not able to get their offense running in the second quarter. Information Investors were able to get their shots to drop and they took advantage of that by shooting and hitting what they put up.
 
Both teams took the game in stride. They let the other team shoot wide open layups and open jump shots. They had fun with the game with the score being out of reach.
 
At halftime the score was Information Investors Group 63 and Tony Geer Gazette 40.
 
Due to the rosters of the game and no officials, the game was called off after two quarters of play.

MILLER TIME TOOK ON INFORMATION INVESTORS GROUP IN THE HOWARD PULLEY PRO CITY SUMMER LEAGUE BASKETBALL GAME

The High Performance Academy in Eagan, home of the Howard Pulley Panthers and the Howard Pulley Pro City Summer League, was abuzz as Miller Time and Information Investors Group faced off in a summer league game.
 
Both teams came out looking to push the ball down the floor. It took awhile for the players to get used to each other, as this was the first week that teams played with each other.
 
The play was sloppy at the onset, as each team turned the ball over a few times on consecutive trips down the floor.
 
Siyani Chambers for Miller Time did a good job of bringing the ball down the floor on the offensive end. He was able to move the ball down the court quickly and get his teammates the ball in spots where they could take easy shots. They were not able to make a basket for a long period of time in the first quarter, however. On the defensive end, Chambers was able to slow down the guy he was guarding and make him give up the ball while not letting him get a shot up.
 
Miller Time did, however, looked to push the ball down the floor and was able to look for layups in transition.
 
Information Investors looked to be clicking on all cylinders in the first quarter. They were able to hit shots that they put up and they were able to work the 24 second shot clock and looked to get good shots.
 
Charles Buggs played well for Information Investors. He was able to run the floor and had good court vision. He was not afraid to take the ball to the basket if he thought that he had an open shot. If he didn’t think that he had a good shot he was not afraid to pass the ball to one of his teammates so they could get an open look at the basket.
 
At the end of the first quarter the score was Information Investors 19, Miller Time 11.
 
Both teams used mostly a man-to-man defense and a motion offense. They looked to use as much off the 24 second shot clock as they could.
 
Both teams dove on the floor after loose balls. There were a few jump balls in the first half.
 
Miller Time did a good job of getting the ball out of the Information Investors basket or a defensive rebound and they looked up push the ball down quickly as they wanted to get fast break baskets. They were able to do that in the first half.
 
Miller Time was not afraid to step outside the three-point line and take deep three-point shots.
 
Chambers came up with some nice deep threes to keep his team in the game.
 
Miller Time was able to slow down the Information Investors’ offense production for a period of time in the second quarter. Miller Time came up with some big shots to stay in the game.
 
There were several ties and lead changes late in the second quarter. Miller Time caught up to Information Investors but Miller Time never gained the lead in the second quarter.
 
The score after a sloppy first half was Information Investors 43, Miller Time 36.
 
As the third quarter got underway both teams seemed like they were in control. They both played with a lot of intensity and firepower.
 
The score continued to go back and forth throughout the third quarter. Neither team was able to go on a run.
 
Both teams tried to get fancy in the third quarter by throwing lob dunks to each other and looking for layups in the open court.
 
Miller Time took the lead late in the third quarter, as Information Investors went cold for a stretch.
 
Wally Ellenson was all over the floor for Miller Time. He was able to shoot an inside jump shot with ease. He was able to make layups. Ellenson was able to get by his defenders on the offensive end and take the ball hard to the basket.
 
At the end of the third quarter the score was Miller Time 67, Information Investors 61.
 
Jordan Taylor for Information Investors was all over the floor. He was able to get steals on the defensive end and go the other way by the defenders and score on layups. Taylor was a little quicker than everyone else on the floor.
 
Information Investors looked to get after it a little more in the fourth quarter by shooting the ball more. Rather than take time off the shot clock they would look to shoot the ball early in the shot clock and if they miss a shot they would look for the tip-in dunk or the rebound.
 
Information Investors didn’t back down in the fourth. They kept looking for shots that they could get.
They did a good job of getting everyone involved in the offense.
 
Miller Time attacked the basket late in the contest and was able to hit key shots late in the contest. Information Investors battled throughout the contest. Both teams played hard and well throughout the game. The game was tied at 80 with 2:09 left in regulation.
 
Both teams traded baskets again and it the end Information Investors came away with the 84-83 victory over Miller Time.

INFORMATION INVESTORTS GROUP TOOK ON ERROL CARLSTROM PLAYAZ IN THE HOWARD PULLEY LEAGUE

Information Investors went up against Errol Calrstrom Playaz in the Howard Pulley Pro City Summer
League. The game got off to a quick start as each team traded baskets in the first quarter.

It took a while for the teams to get accustomed to each other in the first quarter.

At the end of the first quarter the score was Errol Carlstrom Playaz 20 and Information Investors 21.

The second quarter got off to a quick start as each team traded baskets for a good portion of the quarter.

Neither team went on a run in the first half. Each team played with a lot of passion and pride. Neither
team gave up any easy open shots.

Both teams looked to get easy baskets in transition. They were able to do that as there was very weak
defense by both teams as they were giving up easy looks at the basket.

At halftime the score was Errol Carlstrom Playaz 43 and Information Investors Group 36.

Darren Clover made some nice shots in the game. He was able to blow by his defenders and hit lay-up
after lay-up.

The game remained close throughout the early goings of the third quarter.

Errol Carlstrom Playaz went on a run in the third quarter. Information Investors couldn't hit shots.

At the end of the third quarter the score was Errol Carlstrom Playaz 76 and Information Investors
Group 52.

The fourth quarter was sloppy. Neither team got into a rhythm on either end of the floor. In end Errol
Carlstrom Playaz came away with the 114-87 victory over Information Investors Group.

EL-AMIN FISH HOUSE WENT UP AGAINST THE INFORMATION INVESTORS IN THE HOWARD PULLEY PRO CITY LEAGUE

El-Amin Fish House went up against Information Investors Group in the Howard Pulley Pro City Summer League.

The game got out to a quick start as each team traded baskets. Khalid El-Amin for Fish House came off the bench and gave his team an emotional lift.

The pace of the game slowed down as the quarter went on. After each team figured out what the other team was doing both teams seemed to play more relaxed.

At the end of the first quarter the score was El Amin Fish House 22 and Information Investors 20.

Information Investors started out the second quarter at a slow pace. They were not able to hit shots from within the three-point range.

Both teams went at each other throughout the second quarter.

The score was tied at 43.

As the third quarter got underway both teams traded baskets to start the quarter El-Amin Fish House was able to string some baskets together and get a 56-49 lead with 6:30 left in the third quarter.

El-Amin Fish House didn't give up easy baskets. They made Information Investors work hard for every shot that they put up.

Khalid El-Amin did a good job of getting his team involved in the offense. He took his time with the ball and passed the ball around the three-point line to make sure that his guys were set up. He was able to get the ball to Kevin Thompson and Thompson did a good job of making sure he had a good shot before he took it.

El-Amin Fish House went on a run late in the third quarter. Information Investors had a difficult time hitting shots.

At the end of the third quarter the score was El-Amin Fish House 78 and Information Investors 60.

El-Amin Fish House continued to pour in jump shots and rebounded well in the fourth quarter. Joe Coleman who plays basketball at the University of Minnesota came up with some nice slam dunks that kept the crowd into the game.

In a game that got out of hand in the third quarter. El-Amin Fish House came away with the 113-96 victory over the Information Investors.

The leading scorers for Information Investors were Anthony Tuckman with 30 points and Al Richter with 18 points.

The leading scorers for El-Amin Fish House were Kevin Thompson with 34 points, Bruce Price with 29 points and Dan Coleman with 24 points.

123PRINT.COM TOOK INFORMATIONAL INVESTORS GROUP IN THE HOWARD PULLEY PRO CITY SUMMER LEAGUE

123Print.com took on the Information Investors. Both teams looked for lay-ups early in the contest. 

Information Investors got the ball into the hands of point guard Darren Montagna Glover. Glover was all over the court he got his team involved in the offense. 

The score went back and forth throughout the first half. The defense was tight by both teams as a result neither team gave up easy baskets.

123Print.com got the ball into the hands of guard Paris Dominique Kyles.  Kyles shouted instructions to his team as where he wanted them to be on the floor. On the defensive end he was able to slow down the man that he was guarding.

At the end of the first quarter the score was 123Print.com 31 and Information Investors 24.

123Print.com took their time on the offensive end. They worked the 24 second shot clock down to under 10 seconds to go before they looked to shoot the ball. They didn't rush their shots. 

123Print.com played man-to-man defense. They also looked to trap in the corners in hopes of forcing some turnovers.

The Information Investors had trouble late in the first half finding the range. They were giving up more shots than they were putting in. As a result they we down 16 points at halftime with the score 123Print.com 60 and Information Investors 44.

123Print.com continued to look to take time off the clock and attack the basket on the offensive end. Information Investors had a hard time defending them on the court.

Glover continued to look good on the offensive end as he got his teammates the ball quickly as he flung the ball around the three-point line. He was also not afraid to shoot the ball from deep downtown if he was open. 

Kyles also continued to show leadership on the floor as he directed his teammates on both ends of the court. 

At the end of the third quarter the score was 123Print.com 88 and Information Investors 74.

Information Investors gave it all they had throughout the game. 123Print.com was too quick for the Information Investors to handle.

No one had a response for Glover as he was on fire from everywhere on the floor. 

In a hard fought game that came down to the wire 123Print.com came away with the 113-97 final.
