On July 20, at the High Performance Academy in Eagan, Minn. Pat Madison and Information Investors went up against each other in the Howard Pulley Pro City Summer League game.
Information Investors started off the game with a 14-0 lead to start the game because the Pat Madison players were late. They started the game midway through the second quarter.
Troy Bell for Pat Madison brought the ball down the floor for his team. He was able to get his team involved in the offense.
Both teams went really into the game. They both looked sloppy and lack luster as well as going through the motions.
Darren Glover for Pat Madison took the ball hard to the basket.
At halftime the score was Information Investors 34, Pat Madison 28.
As the third quarter got underway Bell got his shot going. Bell stepped up and was able to knock down some high shots for his team. If Bell thought that his teammate had a better shot he would pass it to them and Bell then would get the assist.
Pat Madison took their time of the offensive end. They were able to use the shot clock to their advantage. As they were able to get shots that they were able to make.
Jefferson Mason for Pat Madison found his long ball shot in the third quarter as he was able to drop some three-point shots midway through the quarter. His teammates did a good job of getting him the ball where he was able to hit shots.
Pat Madison hung on to the lead in the third quarter. Information Investors however attacked the basket and kept shooting the ball and hitting.
The score went back and forth throughout the later part of the third quarter. Neither team went on a run.
After three quarters of play the score was Information Investors 57, Pat Madison 55.
Bell continued to step up and knock down some big shots in the fourth quarter.
Information Investors got hot in the fourth quarter as they were able to knock down some quick baskets.
Both teams played hard and went after loose balls and rebounds.
Information Investors came away with the 85-81 victory over Pat Madison
Pat Madison would have won the game if they went subject to the 14 point deficit going into the game for players not showing up.
The leading scorers for Pat Madison were Jefferson Mason and Michael Campbell each with 25 points, and Troy Bell with 14 points.
The leading scorers for Information Investors were Xavier Crawford with 24 points, Alex Richter with 18 points and Darren Glover and Anthony Tucker each with 13 points.
