Former University of Minnesota basketball players Trevor Mbakwe and Rodney Williams are playing for the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA Summer League. They are playing in the Orlando League, with games played at Amway Center. The 76ers played the Houston Rockets on Sunday, July 7.
Houston came away with the 88-80.
Mbakwe got 12:16 of court time, going 1-3 from the field. He also went 3-3 from the free throw line, for a total of five points.
Williams 26:45, and went 5-10 from the field (0-2 on three-pointers). Williams scored a total of 12 points.
