MILLER TIME TOOK ON SUTHERLAND RAIDERS IN THE HOWARD PULLEY PRO CITY SUMMER LEAGUE GAME

In the second game of the Howard Pulley Pro City Summer League on Thursday July 18, Miller Time took on Sutherland Raiders.
 
Quinton Hooker for Miller Time was able to get the ball down the floor with ease. He was able to get by his defender and get to the basket and make easy layups. Hooker is a vocal leader on the floor.
 
Miller Time looked to get the ball into Royce White’s hands. White took the ball hard to the basket and was able to get fouled and White was also able to make his free throws.
 
The score went back and forth throughout the first quarter. Neither team was able to go on a run.
 
Paris Kyles for the Sutherland Raiders was able to bring the ball down the floor and get the ball into the hands of his teammates. Kyles had good court vision and he knew where his players were on the floor at all times.
 
Neither team went on a run in the first quarter. Both teams took a lot of time off of the shot clock.
 
AJ Wilson for Sutherland Raiders came up with some nice baskets. He was able to get his shot to drop late in the quarter.
 
After the first quarter the score was Sutherland Raiders 30, Miller Time 24.
 
Wally Ellenson for Miller Time was all over the floor. He came up with some nice shots for his team.
 
Miller Time didn’t back down to the Sutherland Raiders. Miller Time still continued to push the ball down the floor and was able to get good looks at the basket.
 
Damian Johnson came into the game for Sutherland Raiders. Johnson was able to set his teammates up on the offensive end and was able to get assists.
 
Ellenson was able to drop some big three-point shots for his team. It didn’t matter when Ellenson was on the floor if he thought that he had a good shot he was not afraid to shoot it.
 
Both teams took good shots at the basket. Neither team gave up on either ends of the floor.
 
Siyani Chambers was all over the floor. He was able to get to the basket and make layups. If Chambers thought that his teammate had a better shot he wouldn’t be afraid to pass the ball to him for the assist.
 
The score at halftime was Sutherland Raiders 57, Miller Time 43.
 
The third quarter got off to a quick start as each team raced up and down the floor looking for their best shots.
 
Miller Time kept on shooting the ball, even though they had a hard time shooting the ball.
 
White played well. He was very active on the floor. He was camped out on the low block and was able to get past his defenders.
 
Miller Time was able to string some baskets together with under 3:00 left in the third quarter.
 
Miller Time kept on attacking the glass. They had success at that as they were able to make layups late in the third quarter.
 
Oto Osenieks for Sutherland Raiders came up with some nice baskets late in the third quarter.
 
The score after three quarters of play was Sutherland Raiders 77, Miller Time 73.
 
Hooker came up with some clutch shots in the contest. He played with a lot of emotion and intensity.
 
The score went back and forth for a good portion of the fourth quarter. Neither team was able to go on a run.
 
It was a very good game.
 
Sutherland Raiders came away with the hard fought 110-98 victory over Miller Time.
 
The leading scorers for Sutherland Raiders were Will Graham with 24 points, AJ Wilson with 22 points, and Oto Osenieks with 16 points.
 
The leading scorers for Miller Time were Royce White with 28 points, Peter Olafeso with 25 points and Kenny Olafeso with 25 points.
