What a joke! I'd like to see Schilling go up against him in a game. Cody would school him all day long! Once again a small school talent gets overlooked by the all the jealous haters from the large schools! Time will prove Schilling is much more talented! While Cody will excel at Augustana in hoops and education this Taylor kid will be a perennial bench warmer!

It's not a joke at all. If Schilling had to go against the kind of talent that the others did, he wouldn't even be up for the award; he wouldn't even lead his team in scoring if he played on a good metro school

He had plenty of opportunity to be seen in AAU, and he's STILL going to Augustana. He can dominate all he wants, he still won't be playing in the Big 10, or even D1.

Scoring the most points in Minnesota Boys Basketball History should not be the reason Schilling should have won. But given the fact that Schilling also set the state record for the most assits in Minnesota Boys Basketball History probably should be. Its difficult to imagine being better than that.

Regarding education, Taylor wants to study business, and Wisconsin grads have more CEOs than any school in the nation including Harvard.

Regarding playing time, I challenge you to name one scholarship guard who stayed with Bo Ryan at Wisconsin for four years and was a perennial bench warmer. That's right, in Bo's seven years, no such player exists.

I cannot believe all the selfish clowns out there who think that if you go to "Augustana" you have not hit the big time.
Here are a few facts for you to think about (if you have any brain cells).
Not every player wants to play at Duke, North Carolina, or other traditional winners. Fact - Cody had already decided to stay near his home and family a long time ago.
Fact - too many times a player goes to a college that is more than a 6 hour drive from their hometown and wishes they had not for all kinds of reasons.
Fact - Cody was looking for a college that was more than basketball that would help him grow educationally, spiritually, and personally.
Did he deserve the Mr. Basketball Award? I think he did but so did at least 3 of the 5 finalists. I will tell you what Cody does not deserve and that is that you’re putting down his ability just because he wanted to stay near his home.
Too many "FANATICS" and not enough "FANS" out there I guess (and yes, if you do not know the difference LOOK IT UP).
